We are adding to our family and searching for a Development Project Coordinator. This is a unique position that with the right person will grow into a Program Manager.

This position assists MME Program Managers in all aspects of a customer program as needed as it moves from design & development through the production process by coordinating and maintaining internal and external communications to meet the customer’s deadlines. The Project Coordinator assures customer satisfaction through interpersonal communication skills, accurate data entry, proper pricing of orders, timely shipping and continuous follow-up.

Some of the responsibilities:

  • Successfully onboard new customers and programs delivered from the Sales and Account Management Departments.
  • Communicate client agendas/needs to colleagues and management – identify potential concerns with capabilities and customer requests.
  • Receives telephone requests for Development price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from domestic & international customers, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors.
  • Maintain profitability during development by helping to drive budgets from conception of projects to completion. This includes employee hours spent on Jobs are tracked and logged (SFLH – Support Function Labor Hours.)
  • Handles troubleshooting of issues and needs for customers. When conflict becomes emotionally charged, the Project Coordinator works as the mediator to deflate the situation concerning both parties.
  • Keeps tabs on all Development Programs and notifies customer of activity such as scheduling changes, tool updates, budgets, and qualification status of product in the Bio-Gal as requested by the Program Managers.
  • Responds within 24hrs to customers’ requests via telephone, email or mail.
  • Personal performance measurements are largely based off of the performance of other individuals whereupon a firm & logical approach to emotional situations is greatly needed.

Skills Required:

  • High School Diploma;2+ years college or trade school
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates and drives MME’s culture.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in word processing, Video Conferencing, Excel spreadsheet, presentation software (preferably in Microsoft Suite) and CAD experience would be a plus.
  • Epicor or other MRP experience a plus.
  • The ability and wisdom to maintain strong customer relations during all types of circumstances.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and product life cycles.
  • Be self- disciplined in time management by prioritizing multiple tasks and carry them to timely completion.
  • Knowledge of medical devices, telecomm, automotive or electronics product development preferred.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs unaided.
