The MME Group’s New Electric Vertical Clamp Injection Molding Machine:

Installed and operational in our new Class 100,000 Clean-room to serve our Medical industry or other applications that can benefit from this unique functionality.

This machine allows for easier placement of insert molded parts by utilizing a turntable to load, position, and orient the parts for a variety of applications. This improves the throughput and quality and eliminates much of the manual manipulation of parts compared to horizontal machines. The end result is the ability to produce high quality insert molded parts at very competitive prices.

Capable of being utilized in a wide variety of small part applications including:

• Insert-molding metal components with tight tolerance requirements (+/- .002 in)
• Over-molding components such as handles shifters, gears, housings, etc...
• Stripmolding technology – used to mold plastic parts that have to be automated but are difficult to orient or align in order to be automatically assembled.

Recommended materials include Nylon, Acetal, PBT, PP, ABS, PC-ABS, TPE's, and Urethanes.
