3M approached MME to help build a few silicone and proto type tools for a new program.
The current lead times on silicone tools were long and proto tools being built needed engineering help.
Delivered:
- Helped engineer product, 40+ molds, secondary tools and development of processes
- Solutions or materials, mold, process and mfg. development including secondary activities
- Purchased new silicone machine to meet the product requirements
Results:
- Development partner from start through development and ensuring production deliverable
- All development lessons learned were incorporated into production
- Product launch and manufactured at different global locations
